This is Jake's skins reaction to the colder weather. He doesn't help this out any by licking his lips, but not all of it is from licking his lips.
I have to admit as you can see he got this from me. I licked my lips too, but as you can tell I couldn't cause all that. So for the lovely winter months we slather on the lotion and try not to laugh at him and the clown mouth.

You can get some prescription stuff that really helps with that. That is such a cute picture of you Cassie!!
Makes my heart go out to you and Jake. Rachael gets it on her hands - every year. She is already bleeding on her right knuckles. It's awful and we can't find anything that seems to make it better. I'm so sorry...
Bummer. Grant was starting to get that on his face and I was getting it on my hands last week. I just lathered his my face and his hands with vaseline for a few days and it did the trick.
Unfortunately, it is only getting worse. I think we are headed to the doctor today if I can get an appointment.
